A sophisticated management information system underpins our security business. This is constantly updated with the latest intelligence news and security alerts, as well as providing the local contact, mapping and escalation information necessary for a co-ordinated multi agency response in the event of an emergency.

Giving clients added peace of mind, our incident management service is available around the clock in the event of a major security breach at any customer site. A central control team has access to all local camera feeds, many public access feeds and real-time radio communication with the emergency services and our own sites to resolve any security threats.

• Static manned guarding – Our highly trained, fully licensed guards are a visible deterrent 24 hours a day, protecting your premises from threats including theft, vandalism and arson.
• Concierge/reception – Along with their security expertise, all our security personnel possess good interpersonal skills, enabling them to fulfil a dual front of house/security role for added value.
• Security patrols – Our uniformed mobile guards will visit to inspect your premises at agreed intervals to physically patrol and check for signs of suspicious activity, damage or intrusion.
• Gatehouse/access/egress control – Whether you need trained guards to control entry and exit or consultancy advice on remote access control systems, Initial can help.
• Keyholding and alarm activation response – A highly secure, fully insured keyholding service that operates to BS 7984 requirements.
• Manned 24 hour control rooms – The nerve centre of our security operation, the control room is responsible for managing guard shifts, liaising with emergency services and despatching an enforcement team in the event of an incident.
• Alarm system monitoring – Our experienced personnel investigate all alarm activations, alerting the police and civil defence bodies where necessary, to avoid customers putting their own staff at risk.
• Issue and receipt of keys and passes – Operating rigorous procedures to ensure keys are passes are properly issued to prevent illegal or unauthorised access.
• Contractor supervision – Directing and monitoring security contractors on our customers’ behalf.
• Monitoring of CCTV – Our security professionals provide a diligent and effective CCTV monitoring service to detect crime, malpractice, theft, fire and flood.
